AAU Travel Ball
Compete Beyond
the County
AAU travel ball takes Sullivan County athletes out of the gym and into regional tournaments where scouts, coaches, and college programs come to find the next generation of talent.
What It Means
AAU Travel Ball, Explained
AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) travel ball is grassroots competitive basketball outside of the school system. Players compete in sanctioned tournaments against other club programs from across the region — and sometimes across the country.
For athletes serious about getting recruited or playing at the next level, AAU is where it happens. College coaches attend AAU events specifically to evaluate prospects. A strong showing on the travel circuit can open doors that a high school season alone cannot.
Sullivan County Ballaz will compete in AAU tournaments throughout the 2026 season, putting our athletes in front of the right eyes at the right time.

This Is Real Competition
Time Commitment
Travel ball demands more than a school season. Weekend tournaments, weeknight practices, and regional travel. This is for athletes who are all-in.
Level of Competition
You will face elite players from across the region. That's the point. The fastest way to improve is to compete against the best and learn what you need to work on.
Mental Toughness
Travel ball builds resilience. You'll lose games, face adversity, and have to compete on the road in unfamiliar gyms. That pressure is where character is built.
